Alsager Gardens Association Annual Show is back and is aiming to be bigger and better this year!! To start things off is the Gardens Competition. There are 3 categories – best garden, best summer display and best commercial display.
Best garden can be anything from a formal garden layout to a traditional cottage garden and will be judged on both front and back gardens. With points awarded for tidiness, species used, novelty and environmental friendliness.
Best summer display is based on summer bedding and flowering plants display and will be judged on front garden displays only, with points awarded for colour use, styles of planters and size of display.
Best commercial display is open to summer bedding plants and flowering plants as well as established borders and beds.
Entry is free for all 3 categories, with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category. Judging will take place in late July, (with a date to be confirmed to entrants).
Closing date for entries is Sunday July 17th
